    1. Hmm… everything on that site seemed to be advertising and what seemed like a thesaurus section didn’t return any results. So unless I’m missing something, I don’t think I can endorse this one 🙁

  1. take a look at similar to , except it pops out meanings for each synonym

    Writers should also take a look at yWriter. link here I have used it for years and highly recommend it. Written by a writer, for writers, it only gives yoiu what is needed.

    1. Hey thanks for the links. I added your thesaurus link and might just switch to using that one myself. yWriter looks pretty cool as a free desktop novel-writing application, especially for folks who don’t write novels in a linear fashion. Not sure I would ever use it since I always write my stories from beginning to end without jumping around, and I make extensive use of ctrl-F (search) to get around many of the problems this app solves, but from the page it looks like it may streamline the process for many writers.
